Rose Ball 2024: Benefiting The Princess Grace Foundation

Princess Alexandra of Hanover, Ben Sylvester Strautmann and Charlotte Casiraghi attend the Rose Ball 2024.

On Saturday, the Rose Ball took place at the prestigious Salle des Etoiles in Monaco under the Presidency of HRH the Princess of Hanover, where the annual event raised funds for the Princess Grace Foundation.

Princess Alexandra of Hanover wore a custom Celine by Hedi Slimane black dress.

The bustier portion of the dress which is accented with a bow ensured this look had plenty of intrigue, along with her A. E. Köchert earrings.

Am I alone in feeling that the Celine bag feels a bit too casual for the dress?

You won’t be surprised to learn that Charlotte Casiraghi was wearing Chanel Haute Couture.

I’m not sold on the top half of this being all that flattering, or the central slit, but the embellished bodice is beautiful.

I would love for Charlotte to explore other labels, but I think we have more chances of Jennifer Aniston’s next promo tour not featuring a black or silver dress.

On the other hand, Beatrice Borromeo’s relationship with Dior continues to be a fruitful one as this gold fringed dress showcased Maria Grazia Chiuri’s glimmering approach to quiet elegance.

The gold fringed details reminded me of Jennifer Lawrence’s Dior gown for the ‘Don’t Look Up’ New York premiere.

Princess Caroline of Monaco usually joins Charlotte in wearing Chanel Haute Couture for this event, but she opted to bring some glitz to the occasion wearing a Lanvin sequin gown which was elevated by her silver and lavender jewels.

Considering this was a ‘70s themed event, Princess Charlene of Monaco was the only one – as host – to get the memo wearing this sparkling Elie Saab jumpsuit styled with a Elie Saab clutch.

She gets an A for effort and for being on theme, but I would have loved this even more had she kept the cape.
