Salma Hayek Wore Balenciaga To The ‘Fondazione Cini, Isola Di San Giorgio’ Photocall

Salma Hayek attended the ‘Fondazione Cini, Isola Di San Giorgio’ photocall held during the 60th Biennale Art 2024 in Venice this week.

Style-wise, 2023 was a great year for Salma Hayek.  She was a completely new woman.

Looking at this custom Balenciaga dress which incorporates two of my favourite things: sequins and the colour blue, I should be salivating over this.

But as the saying goes, “All that glitters is not gold.”

So while my heart wants to love this, my head is saying, “nah.”

My first thought was that this dress looks like it belongs in the costume department for ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ mostly because of the fringed skirt, but it was the styling which really killed this look for me.

Between the black platforms and forcing that Balenciaga Hourglass bag into this look, I’m truly stunned.  And not in a good way.
