Kerry Washington Wore Akris To The 2024 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books
Kerry Washington was a guest speaker at the 2024 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books event held at the University of Southern California on Saturday.
The ‘Thicker Than Water’ author wore a look from the Akris Spring 2024 collection.
Who knew that silk organza suits would be trending in the world of celebrity fashion, as this look follows Michelle Yeoh who opted for a bolder hue from Max Mara two weeks ago.
When celebrities go sheer or semi sheer, it isn’t met with the greatest reception from the majority, but what I have loved about both looks is that despite this sheer element, the look does not forego the tailored, or the polished aesthetic we expect from a suit.
Kerry’s look was styled with denim silk grid knit top and platform shoes.
