Fantasia Barrino Wore Monôt To The 2024 Time100 Gala

Fantasia Barrino returned to the red carpet following awards season for the 2024 Time100 Gala held in New York City on Thursday.

Seeing the actress-singer channelling her inner Eartha Kitt wearing this custom Monôt sequinned dress, you kinda have to wonder “what happened during awards season?”

Fantasia has an amazing promo tour for ‘The Color Purple.’  Awards season was just ok with her BAFTA look the stand out for me.

And now we’re back where we started with the jaw dropping brilliance that is this Monôt dress featuring matching headwrap.

I love that Eli Mizrahi gave Fantasia a true custom dress, and not a version of the dresses we have seen several times from his label.

Looking at this dress, you might think that the party was at the front…

…but it was really at the back which was open revealing a selection of necklaces from Maison Spoiled.
